Applies To: All custom and standard small & medium LCD (LCM) products manufactured or supplied by Qihantech
1. Warranty Commitment
We are committed to the stability and long-term performance of our LCD modules, display assemblies, and custom interface solutions. Unless otherwise specified in the quotation, sales contract, or product datasheet, a standard 12-month limited warranty is provided from the shipping date.
2. Warranty Coverage
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions during the warranty period.
Covered Components:
- TFT LCD modules (TN / IPS / TFT variants)
- Capacitive and resistive touch panels
- Optical bonding materials (OCA / LOCA)
- FPC cables, connectors, and interface boards (if supplied by us)
- Driver ICs, touch ICs, and related integrated circuits
Covered Conditions:
- Abnormal dead pixels exceeding industry or agreed standards
- Touch function failure or signal detection loss
- Backlight failure under normal operating conditions
- Display instability caused by internal circuit defects
- Bonding issues such as delamination or bubble formation within specified environmental limits
3. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover issues caused by:
- Improper integration, assembly, or mechanical design by the customer
- Over-voltage, reverse polarity, or ESD beyond specification limits
- Mechanical damage, bending, impact, or physical stress
- Operation outside specified temperature or humidity ranges
- Unauthorized modification, soldering, or repair attempts
- Natural aging effects such as slight brightness reduction or minor color shift
- Custom-developed products (e.g., customized FPC, cover glass, logo integration), except confirmed manufacturing defects
4. Warranty Period
- Standard warranty: 12 months from shipping date
- Extended warranty (18–36 months) may be available for long-term or strategic projects, confirmed during quotation stage
The applicable warranty period will be confirmed on invoice, packing list, or contract documents.
5. Warranty Claim Procedure
If a product issue occurs during the warranty period, please contact your assigned sales engineer directly. Our sales and engineering teams will jointly evaluate and support the case.
Required Information:
- Purchase order number or invoice reference
- Product part number and batch number (if available)
- Description of the issue and usage environment
- Photos or videos clearly showing the defect
Our technical team will review the case within 3–5 business days and confirm whether it qualifies as a warranty claim.
Important:
Do not return any products without written confirmation from our team.
6. Warranty Resolution
For confirmed warranty cases, we will provide the most suitable solution based on project requirements:
- Repair – when technically feasible and time-efficient
- Replacement – with identical or functionally equivalent product
- Credit note / compensation – for discontinued models or special cases
Warranty replacements do not extend or renew the original warranty period.
For large-volume or customized projects, partial batch handling or on-site technical support may be provided depending on project stage and location.
7. Limitation of Liability
Qihantech’s liability under this warranty is strictly limited to product repair, replacement, or refund of the defective unit.
We are not responsible for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Labor costs for installation, removal, or system diagnosis
- Production loss, downtime, or delayed project timelines
